AIDA64 for Android is a powerful diagnostic tool that provides detailed hardware and software information for a wide range of Android devices, including phones, tablets, smartwatches, and TVs. Building on the extensive hardware knowledge of the AIDA64 for Windows application, it offers accurate and in-depth system insights.
The app displays a wealth of information such as CPU detection with real-time core clock measurement, screen dimensions, pixel density, and camera details. It also monitors battery level and temperature, provides WiFi and cellular network information, and identifies SoC and device model. Additionally, it covers memory and storage utilization, OpenGL ES GPU details with real-time clock measurement, and lists Vulkan, OpenCL, CUDA, PCI, and USB devices.
Users can also access sensor polling, view installed apps, codecs, and system directories. For Android Wear users, there is a native app module for watches. AIDA64 requires Android 4.4 or later and certain permissions to function fully, such as access to network state, WiFi state, internet, and camera for displaying relevant information without capturing photos or videos.
While AIDA64 is highly accurate, some known issues may arise, such as incorrect screen diagonal size or camera capabilities if the manufacturer encoded wrong values. Battery capacity is only reported for factory default batteries, and charge rate may be inaccurate on devices that don't fully support Android 5.0's battery API. Users can report issues from the About page for fixes in future updates.
