AR Ruler App: Tape Measure Cam

AR Ruler is an augmented reality app that turns your smartphone camera into a versatile measuring tool. By aiming at detected planes, you can measure linear sizes in centimeters, meters, millimeters, inches, feet, or yards, as well as distance from the camera to a fixed point on a 3D plane. The app also measures angles, area, and perimeter, making it useful for room measurement and home projects.

Beyond basic measurements, AR Ruler offers advanced features like volume scanning for 3D objects, path length calculation on photos, and height measurement relative to recognized surfaces. The Room Planner and Home Design tools generate room plan projections and export floor plans to PDF. An on-screen ruler lets you measure small objects directly on your phone screen, while the photo measure feature adds flexibility.

Some capabilities are exclusive to the Core version. The app relies on ARCore technology, which continuously improves accuracy for room scanning and photo measurements. Whether you need to measure a room, scan objects in 3D, or calculate wall area, AR Ruler provides quick and precise results anytime, anywhere.

Try AR Ruler now to simplify your measuring tasks and enhance your home design projects. We welcome your feedback and are here to help with any questions.
