Bury me, my Love is a text messaging adventure game that tells the story of Nour, a Syrian refugee, and her husband Majd, who remains in Syria. As Nour embarks on a dangerous journey to Europe, Majd communicates with her through a messaging app, offering advice and support to help her reach safety.

The game is played entirely through an instant messaging interface, simulating a chat with Nour. Players take on the role of Majd, responding to Nour's messages, sharing emojis, pictures, and links, and making choices that influence the narrative. The story is based on real-life events, drawing inspiration from an article about a young Syrian woman who fled to Germany.

With multiple narrative routes, players can guide Nour through 50 different locations and 19 possible endings, each with divergent outcomes. The choices made truly impact the story, making each playthrough unique. The game is a co-production from ARTE, The Pixel Hunt, and Figs, and has won awards for its meaningful and emotional gameplay.
