Chess Clock

This free chess clock app is designed to replace traditional chess clocks and is suitable for any time control. It is completely free with no in-app purchases or ads, making it accessible to all players. The app is easy to use yet fully featured, allowing you to customize time controls and start playing quickly.

The app includes large, easy-to-read buttons and works in both landscape and portrait orientations on all devices. You can quickly customize the app for one-tap access to your favorite time controls. Time controls include base minutes per player and optional per-move delays or bonus time, supporting both Fischer and Bronstein increments as well as simple delays. The duration is up to you.

It also supports multiple-stage time controls commonly seen in tournaments, such as 40 moves in 2 hours plus 60 minutes for the rest of the game. A glance at the clock shows your current stage. The clock pauses automatically if the app is interrupted, and you can manually pause it at any time. Pleasant sounds indicate button presses and a time's up alert.

At Chess.com, we love chess and sometimes play it offline. For those times, we created this clock and hope you love it as much as we do.
