Children of Morta

Children of Morta is a story-driven action RPG with roguelite elements, where you control an entire family of heroes rather than a single character. The Bergson family, with all their flaws and virtues, must stand against the approaching Corruption. The narrative unfolds in the distant land of Rea, but explores universal themes of love, hope, longing, uncertainty, loss, and sacrifice.

Gameplay involves hacking and slashing through hordes of enemies in procedurally generated dungeons, caves, and lands. Each run allows you to improve skills and gear for the whole family, making them stronger together. With seven playable characters, each possessing unique abilities, fighting styles, and personalities, you can switch between them to adapt to any challenge.

The game features gorgeous 2D pixel art that combines handcrafted animations with modern lighting techniques, immersing you in a beautiful yet deadly world. The Complete Edition includes both the Ancient Spirits and Paws and Claws DLC, available as you play. Additionally, a two-player online co-op mode is available, allowing you to rely on each other in every fight.
