Crunchyroll: inbento

inbento is a relaxing pattern-matching puzzle game where you prepare Japanese lunch boxes while enjoying a heartwarming story about parenthood and growing up. Recreate over 120 puzzling recipes, master tricky mechanics, and learn about the life of a kitten family as you pour your love into the food you create.

In each puzzle, you start with a limited number of ingredients and a picture of the final result. Rotate, move, and insert the food in the right order to rediscover the original recipe and make a delicious dish. As you progress, new mechanics allow you to swap, remove, and copy ingredients, making the puzzles more exciting.

Finishing each chapter rewards you with interactive illustrations that offer glimpses into the life of a cat family and the ups and downs of parenthood. The game's relaxed pace and textless tutorial ensure that even those with zero cooking knowledge can have a great time.

inbento won first place at The Big Indie Pitch @ PGA 2019. Crunchyroll Premium members can enjoy this game as part of their membership, which also includes ad-free streaming of over 1,300 titles and 46,000 episodes, offline viewing, and more.
