Divinus: Board Game Companion

This application serves as a digital companion for the Divinus board game, a competitive legacy hybrid experience for 2-4 players. It offers both a narrative campaign and an endlessly replayable mode, with the app guiding and tracking every session. The board game itself is required to use this app.

Launch the app to start a new campaign and step into the roles of demigods vying for the favor of the Greek and Nordic pantheons. Explore the lands, make permanent changes to the world, and complete quests to earn artifacts and titles, all while striving to claim your place among the gods. Each scenario is introduced by the prophet Pythia, who presents the plot, objectives, and a unique set of quests that react to your previous decisions, unlocking special rewards and storylines.

The legacy nature of the game is fully integrated into the app, which remembers which player built or destroyed locations and alters the narrative accordingly. The game features unique scannable stickers that players apply to map tiles, permanently transforming them. The app’s image recognition technology allows you to scan these stickers to visit different locations, without any QR codes disrupting the game’s aesthetics.

Each scenario lasts 45 to 60 minutes, and you can enjoy a linked campaign or dive into the infinitely replayable Eternal Mode. Once downloaded, the app requires no internet connection during gameplay, supports multiple languages, and saves your progress so you can resume your campaign at any time.
