The dungeon is unforgiving: there are no checkpoints. If an adventurer is slain within the dungeon, their items are lost, and they are sent back to town. However, there are various ways to grow stronger. You can permanently increase your stats through training and become even more powerful with the assorted items and food found in the dungeon.
