Flightradar24 Flight Tracker

Flightradar24 is a popular flight tracking app that lets you see live flights on a detailed map. You can point your device at an airplane to identify it and get information like route, speed, and altitude. The app also offers 3D views, historical data, and airport information.

Key features include real-time tracking, flight details, and playback of past flights. You can search for flights by number, airport, or airline, and filter by various criteria. The app also provides weather conditions and delays at airports.

For more advanced features, there are Silver and Gold upgrades. Silver offers 90 days of history, more aircraft details, and filters. Gold includes 365 days of history, weather layers, aeronautical charts, and ATC boundaries.

The app works by receiving data from ADS-B transponders via a network of ground stations. Coverage varies by region. Flightradar24 is for entertainment purposes only and should not be used for safety-critical decisions.
