Google Assistant

Google Assistant is a hands-free helper that lets you get things done using just your voice. You can control your phone by opening apps, adjusting settings, or turning on the flashlight. Stay connected by making calls, sending texts, and managing emails without touching your device. It also helps you set reminders, create lists, ask questions, and find directions quickly.

Beyond your phone, Google Assistant can manage your smart home. Control lights, thermostats, and other compatible devices from anywhere, making your home more convenient and efficient. Whether you are at home or on the go, it keeps your daily tasks running smoothly.

You can now opt in to Gemini, an experimental AI assistant, from Google Assistant and make it your primary assistant on your phone. Gemini gives you direct access to Google's best family of AI models, unlocking new ways to assist you while still incorporating many actions you love. Some actions may not work right away, but support for more is coming soon. You can switch back to Google Assistant in app settings.

Gemini opt-in is rolling out to select devices and countries. You can opt in from your Google Assistant or by downloading the Gemini app. Learn more about availability at the support link. Compatible devices are required for smart home control.
