Idle Civilization: World Story

This is a strategy game where you manage the ruling class of an anonymous society, developing its productive forces and guiding it through socio-economic transformations. You will experience the entire history of humankind, from primitive communities to a future classless society with interstellar travel and time travel technologies. The narrative branches based on your decisions, making each playthrough unique.

Your choices are set against real historical events, such as the Battle of Marathon, the Punic Wars, the fall of Rome, the Crusades, and industrial or socialist revolutions. Nothing is predetermined: a single economic misstep in a young Soviet republic could lead to its collapse, while insufficient imperialist aggression might result in being consumed by a larger power. The Cold War's outcome is not fixed, depending on the level of reformism and reaction in Soviet governance.

The game features handcrafted watercolor graphics that add a unique aesthetic charm. Currently, it is in the late early stage of development, with core mechanics implemented, but content and balance are still being expanded. Events, improvements, images, texts, time travel, and other planets are planned for future updates.
