Kingdom Eighties is a standalone expansion in the acclaimed Kingdom series, offering a singleplayer adventure that blends micro-strategy and base building with the vibrant neon aesthetics of the 1980s. You step into the role of The Leader, a young camp counselor tasked with defending your town and family from the relentless attacks of the mysterious Greed. These monsters are after your family's legacy, the Crown of Creation, and it's up to you to stop them.

Recruit the neighborhood kids and assign them roles as soldiers or builders. Use coins to construct and expand your kingdom, fortify it with walls and defensive turrets, and prepare for the nightly assaults from the Greed. If you lose your crown, all is lost. Exploration is key: uncover mounts, technology upgrades, and weapons, and manage your resources wisely to survive.

Building on the well-known mechanics of previous Kingdom games, Kingdom Eighties delves deeper into the series' lore and worldbuilding. Newcomers will find the story elements seamlessly guide them through the gameplay. Along the way, you'll meet three companions—The Champ, The Tinkerer, and The Wiz—each with unique abilities that you can combine to solve puzzles and overcome challenges.

Travel through never-before-seen locations, from the skateboard park to Main Street shops and the New Lands Mall, all while enjoying the iconic handcrafted pixel art style with a neon twist.
