Lunescope Pro: Moon Phases+

Experience the moon like never before with this spectacular, interactive 3D simulation. From the shadows in craters to earthshine on the dark side, every detail is rendered with stunning realism. Touch screen controls let you change the date and time as seen from your location, and the phase tracks your every move. Use two fingers to spin the moon itself and see the far side, or zoom in to explore lunar features up close.

Packed with features you won't find in other moon apps, this app instantly shows phase, crescent angle, libration, rise and set times, and nearest syzygies for any date and location. Zoom in for a detailed lunar map with up to 2500x magnification and information on all surface features. It also displays supermoons, blue moons, black moons, and all lunar eclipses with exclusive visualization. You can change the phase by touchscreen or direct date entry, and a two-finger drag rotates the 3D moon simulation. Choose between high definition or maximum realism imagery, which includes dynamic shadows of craters and mountains.

Additional tools include a lunar calendar showing the month's phases at a glance, a data pane with details like azimuth, altitude, distance, apogee, perigee, and zenith, and astronomer options that make it the perfect companion to your telescope. Configurable notifications keep you informed about phases, eclipses, and more. The app also offers a live wallpaper, a resizable home screen widget with optional moon info text, and a Wear OS watch face that shows the same imagery plus abbreviated data. It supplies moon data and imagery via complications to other Wear OS watch faces and includes a Wear OS Tile to show moon phase and data alongside your existing watch face. Fully optimized for Chromebooks and tablets, this app is formerly known as Moon Phase Pro and is more than just a phase.
