Medium: Read & Write Stories

Medium is a vast digital encyclopedia of expertise, offering millions of long-form stories from insiders and thought leaders. Whether you are looking to deepen your knowledge on a specific subject or explore new ideas, the platform provides a rich library of content that sparks curiosity and fuels bold ambitions. It serves as a space where the written word connects readers with a global community of expert writers and independent voices.

The app delivers a distraction-free reading experience that keeps the focus on quality writing. You can highlight passages, bookmark stories, and create lists to build a personal knowledge base. Following favorite writers and publications unlocks personalized recommendations, while audio versions allow you to listen to any story while commuting or multitasking. The interface supports seamless switching between light and dark modes and syncs across smartphone, tablet, and desktop.

Beyond reading, Medium empowers users to publish their own stories, grow an audience, and join the Medium Partner Program to earn money from writing. Engagement is at the core, with options to clap for stories, join thought-provoking conversations in the comments, and connect with an intelligent community of readers and writers. Exclusive newsletters can be delivered directly to your inbox, keeping you informed on the topics you care about most.

For unlimited access to everything on Medium and to directly support the writers you read most, a membership is available. Payment of $4.99 monthly or $49.99 annually will be charged to your Google Play account, and the subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through the Google Play Subscription Center.
