Meshtastic

Meshtastic is an Android application designed to work with open-source, off-grid mesh radios. It serves as the main client for the Meshtastic project, enabling you to manage your mesh devices and communicate with other users without relying on cellular or internet infrastructure. The app connects to your radio hardware via Bluetooth or other means, allowing you to send and receive text messages, share your location, and monitor network status.

The Meshtastic project is community-driven and currently in beta. The app provides a user-friendly interface to configure your radio, view nearby nodes, and participate in group chats. Whether you're hiking in remote areas, at a festival, or in a disaster-stricken zone, Meshtastic helps you stay connected when traditional networks are unavailable. The underlying firmware is a separate open-source project, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
