Panzer War: Definitive Edition is a third-person tank shooting game that offers two distinct damage mechanics. You can choose between module-based damage, similar to War Thunder, which calculates how shells affect internal modules and provides an x-ray replay, or HP-based damage, similar to World of Tanks. The game utilizes new rendering pipelines for enhanced visuals.

There is no tech-tree or vehicle unlocking system. All tanks are available for free from the start, featuring over 50 tanks from World War II to modern conflicts, with more added in updates. The game also supports mods, allowing you to download hundreds of mod tanks for free through the mod downloader.

In the tank workshop, you can combine different equipment to build your own custom tank. The game modes include 7v7, Skirmish with respawns, Historical Mode, and Play Field, offering varied gameplay experiences.
