Rising Empires 2 - 4X gaming

Rising Empires 2 is a deep 4X turn-based strategy game set in a rich fantasy world. You lead one of six unique races, each with distinct abilities, as you explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate across two interconnected levels: the Surface and the Netherworld. The Surface is home to Elves and Humans, while the dark caves below host strange creatures like the undead Ende, brutal Greenskins, insectoid Krant, and versatile Dwarves.

Your goal is to build the strongest civilization by founding settlements, constructing fortifications, and advancing through a well-developed technology tree. You can design your own troop types, equipping them with abilities that match your playstyle, and engage in an advanced combat system against other empires and monstrous foes such as Ghouls, Minotaurs, Lizardmen, and Dragons.

Games can be quick skirmishes with two empires or epic campaigns with up to eight. The game also supports modding, allowing you to modify all data lists and create your own custom content.
