RoughAnimator - animation app

This application brings professional-grade hand-drawn animation tools to your Android device, allowing you to create traditional frame-by-frame animations wherever you are. Designed by an animator for fellow animators, it balances power and simplicity, making it suitable for both professionals and beginners.

The app includes a robust timeline with unlimited layers and adjustable exposure lengths, supporting both pose-to-pose and straight-ahead animation techniques. Onion skinning helps you see previous and next frames, while preview playback and timeline scrubbing let you review your work fluidly. You can import audio for lip syncing and video for rotoscoping, and create custom brushes to suit your style. It also supports pressure-sensitive devices like Samsung S-Pen, and gives you control over framerate and resolution.

When your animation is complete, you can export it as a Quicktime video, GIF, or image sequence. Projects are compatible with Adobe Flash/Animate, After Effects, and Toon Boom Harmony, so you can continue working in your preferred desktop software. A desktop version is also available for seamless workflow across devices.
