Shattered Pixel Dungeon

Shattered Pixel Dungeon is a traditional roguelike dungeon crawler RPG that's easy to learn but hard to master. Every run is a unique challenge with six distinct heroes, randomized levels and enemies, and hundreds of items to collect and use. The game receives new content roughly every three months, ensuring there's always something fresh to discover.

Choose from six playable heroes, each with unique mechanics and playstyles. Whether you prefer the durable Warrior, the deadly Duelist, the arcane Mage, the divine Cleric, the stealthy Rogue, or the markswoman Huntress, you'll find a hero that suits your approach. As you progress, earn points to spend on talents, choose a subclass, and unlock powerful endgame abilities that can transform your hero into a dual-wielding Champion, a righteous Paladin, a precise Sniper, or many other possibilities.

The dungeon is procedurally generated with random layouts, room types, items, traps, and enemies, ensuring a huge variety from run to run. Equip your hero with enchanted, upgraded, and augmented gear, and wield magical wands, rings, artifacts, and trinkets to gain powerful benefits. Battle hostile wildlife, mad thieves, occult servants, and more as you descend through five regions and twenty-six floors filled with over sixty enemy types, thirty traps, and ten bosses.

All these hazards make the game quite tough, but don't be discouraged. You probably won't win on your first try, but there are many tricks and strategies to discover on the path to your first victory. Afterward, optional challenges and achievements await if you want to test your skills further. Shattered Pixel Dungeon is an open source game based on Pixel Dungeon by Watabou, and it has steadily grown into its own over the last decade.
