Tactical combat is at the heart of the experience. Use the environment to your advantage: take cover to avoid attacks, flank enemies for efficiency, but be careful not to get flanked yourself. Utilize a variety of tools such as distractions, smoke grenades, flash bangs, and traps to gain the upper hand.

Stealth offers alternative approaches. Sometimes running in with guns blazing isn't the answer. Use distractions to isolate opponents, stealth take-downs and silenced weapons to reduce enemy numbers quietly, hack turrets to turn them against their masters, and even lure different enemy factions to fight each other. Choosing your load-out is crucial; carry one two-handed and one single-handed weapon, along with body armor and grenades. With a wide array of weapons—big, small, loud, silenced, beaming, bouncy, and more—there's something for every playstyle.
