Tanks Defense blends tower defense with real-time strategy, putting you in command of a base under siege by alien machines. You must balance turret upgrades, resource production, and tank deployment, as resources are scarce and every decision counts. The game challenges you to think ahead and adapt your tactics on the fly.

Build and customize your defenses with turrets, generators, and tactical modules. Expand production and manage energy to keep your guns firing and factory running. Activate shields and missile strikes when the pressure mounts. Assemble an army from heavy tanks, missile launchers, and support vehicles, combining them to shield long-range weapons, repair allies, and pierce enemy defenses.

Experiment with weapon effects like flamethrowers, freezing, acid, and electricity. Soak enemies and strike with chain lightning to cause short circuits, or weaken armor with acid. Remember that heat and freezing cancel each other out. The story campaign spans three chapters across forests, snowy Alaska, and African wastelands, where you repel waves, face tactical challenges, and battle bosses.

Research new technologies to unlock additional modules and upgrade your base's armor, power, and factory. Reallocate upgrades without penalties to try different setups. Test your strategy online against other players, fighting for the central outpost, or experiment in sandbox mode with allied and alien vehicles.
