The Captain is Dead

The Captain is Dead is a frantic cooperative board game where you command the crew of a starship under alien attack. As the new leader, you must coordinate your team to repair critical systems and fend off hostile forces before sharing the captain's fate. Each crew member brings unique skills to the table, from the Chief Engineer who fixes the ship quickly to the Soldier who excels at eliminating aliens. You'll need to leverage every talent to survive the cold depths of space.

The ship offers various systems to aid your survival. The Bridge lets you scan for threats and repair shields, while the Armory provides torpedoes and auto-turrets to destroy alien ships and repel boarders. The CPU Core powers up your crew with skills, and the Cargo Hold contains helpful gear like lasers and scanners. Other areas include the Infirmary for healing, the Science Lab for upgrades and research, and Engineering where you work to fix the Jump Core for escape.

Your ultimate goal is to repair the Jump Core and activate the engines to escape to Hyperspace. But beware: an unknown alien nemesis will do everything to blast you to atoms. Stay cool, protect your crew, and keep systems operational long enough to make the jump. With endless crew replacements and a variety of roles, each game is a tense battle for survival in the vastness of space.
