The Past Within

The Past Within is a co-op only point-and-click adventure set in the mysterious world of Rusty Lake. You and a friend must work together to unravel the secrets surrounding Albert Vanderboom. One player explores the past, while the other navigates the future, and you must communicate what you see to solve puzzles and progress.

Both players experience their environments in different dimensions: one in 2D and the other in 3D, a first for the Rusty Lake universe. The game is cross-platform, so you can play on PC, Mac, iOS, Android, or Nintendo Switch as long as you can communicate with each other. Whether you team up with a friend or find a partner on the official Discord server, cooperation is essential.

The game features two chapters with an average playtime of about two hours. For the full experience, replay from the other perspective, and use the replayability feature to tackle puzzles with new solutions. Dive into this unique cooperative adventure and help Rose set her father's plan in motion.
