Tropico

In Tropico, you take on the role of El Presidente, the newly elected leader of an underdeveloped Caribbean island. Your mission is to modernize the nation and lead it into a prosperous future. With untapped resources and enormous potential, the island is yours to shape as you see fit.

You have complete control over every aspect of development, from constructing roads and buildings to managing the needs of your people. You can also dictate military, trade, and foreign policies. Transform Tropico into a tourist paradise, an industrial powerhouse, a police state, or a combination of all three.

Politics play a crucial role. You must navigate elections, calm unruly factions, manage public opinion, and reward loyal followers. The game includes all the extra edicts, missions, landmarks, and leisure facilities from the Absolute Power expansion pack, giving you even more ways to exert absolute power.

Additional mission packs offer new challenges. In the free Postcards from Tropico pack, you can fleece revolutionary llamas and search for alien life. The Tropican Dream mission pack, available via in-app purchase, lets you play the markets and face God's wrath. Built specifically for Android, Tropico features an intuitive touch interface and gameplay mechanics refined for mobile gaming.
