Yandex Start

Yandex Start is a versatile app that brings everything you need onto a single screen. You can set any webpage as your home page, whether it's the Yandex home page or your own site, making it easy to start your day with the content you love. The app provides quick access to weather forecasts, traffic updates, and Yandex search with instant suggestions, all from your home page.

One of the standout features is the powerful translation capability. Yandex Start can translate entire websites, individual sentences, or even text within images from over a hundred languages. This makes it incredibly convenient to browse foreign sites, buy tickets, or check business hours when you're in a country where you don't speak the language. Additionally, the app can translate and dub videos from around the world into Russian using Yandex's neural networks, covering topics like travel, cars, gadgets, scientific discoveries, recipes, and more.

Beyond translation, Yandex Start helps you manage unwanted calls with its voice assistant, Alice. Simply say, "Alice, turn on the caller ID," and she will set up caller identification to filter out unwanted conversations.
