Microsoft Sudoku delivers a polished puzzle experience with freshly generated boards every time you play. Classic mode offers six difficulty levels, from gentle warm-ups to genuinely taxing grids, so there is always a suitable challenge waiting. Every puzzle is unique, meaning you never run out of new boards to solve.

Irregular mode puts a fresh spin on the familiar rules by reshaping the blocks into unusual forms. The logic stays the same, but the altered layout forces you to think differently about each placement. Daily Challenges add three new objectives every day across Classic, Irregular and the Ice Breaker mode, where correct numbers send shockwaves that shatter the ice.

A range of themes lets you personalize the look of the board, including a Charms option that swaps digits for symbols. Notes update automatically as you fill cells, mistakes can be erased with a tap, and progress in both Classic and Irregular puzzles is saved when you close the app. Statistics track your best time, average time and games played across every mode.

Plenty of settings let you tailor the experience, from block duplicates and mistake warnings to showing all notes. You can enter a square first or a number first, whichever feels natural. Signing in with a Microsoft account unlocks Xbox Live achievements and keeps your progress synced in the cloud across Android devices.
